Moreton Bay is today honouring the ANZACs at commemorations which started before dawn.
Seventeen different locations, from Bribie and Woodford down to Bray Park and Samford are hosting marches and services.
Thousands of residents and visitors will march and line streets and attend ceremonies run by RSLs and community organisations.
Young and old will stand side-by-side to remember the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) which went ashore at Gallipoli on April 25, 1915.

Caboolture- Dawn Service
Caboolture
Torrential rain hit Caboolture’s huge morning parade this morning, but the Anzac Day commemoration never missed a step. Schools and community groups marched through the downpour, friends, family and spectators applauded this marvellous annual honouring of the Anzacs. Caboolture town square was again packed for the morning service and wreath laying.
Pine Rivers
Pine Rivers turned out in force to commemorate Anzac Day this morning.Crowds lined Anzac Ave, both sides, applauding the huge parade.
Countless schools and community groups marched, some drenched by a short shower, in one of Moreton Bay’s most celebrated events.
Mayor Peter Flannery, Cr Yvonne Barlow and State Member for Murrumba Steven Miles were among those greeting the huge parade and crowds.
A flypast was followed by the formal service at Norths Leagues Club.

Wamuran - Dawn Service
Crowds packed the National Servicemen’s Memorial Park in Wamuran this morning to pay their respects to the Anzacs.
Hundreds of residents turned out before dawn broke ignoring the threat of rain and wet grounds.
Again the traditions of the Anzac Day service were honoured by young and old with scores of wreaths laid.
Woodford - Dawn Service
Woodford honoured the Anzacs before dawn this morning with hundreds of residents at Memorial Park for the 5am service. Despite the forecast of rain, residents, officials and representatives of the Defence forces paid tribute to those who landed at Gallipoli 111 years ago today. By the light of a single street lamp, wreathes are laid, a minute silence observed and heads bowed in memory.
