Caboolture Hospital to temporarily move some outpatient services

The Caboolture Hospital has temporarily moved a number of its allied health services into the community as construction on the hospital’s expansion continues.

The services including paediatric outpatient care, geriatric oncology and physiotherapy will now be delivered at the Caboolture Super Clinic for the next 12 months.

Caboolture Hospital Executive Director Angie Dobbrick said the temporary move would ensure the hospital could continue to deliver the best care for patients.

“These clinics will be run by the usual team of Caboolture Hospital Allied Health clinicians that many patients usually see and know - the only difference will be the location,” Angie said.

“Patients for these clinics should go to the Super Clinic main reception and one of the administration team will be able to check them in and show them to the appropriate clinic room.”

Patients have been contacted alerting them to the change.

“We have contacted affected patients directly to ensure they are aware their appointment will be held at this new location,” Angie said.

“However, it’s important to note that not all Allied Health outpatient clinics are moving.

“Your appointment confirmation letter will clearly state the date, time and location of your appointment – please read it carefully and get in touch if you need any further details.

“Caboolture Hospital is committed to ensuring outpatients appointments are easily accessible for our community,” Angie said.

“Thank you for your patience as we build a better hospital for the Caboolture community and surrounds.”

The Super Clinic is a high-quality professional health centre with free parking, an onsite café and pharmacy.

The Caboolture Super Clinic is located at 23-27 George Street, Caboolture (on the corner of Bertha Street).

Services will be delivered from this location for the next 12 months.
