Climate change in spotlight at Bribie

The Probus Club of Bribie Island is sponsoring a public talk by Australian geologist and earth scientist Professor Ian Plimer, on global warming.

Prof Plimer will share his studies into global warming in a talk entitled ‘Climate Change not caused by mankind’.

The phenomenon has become an important and contentious issue with droughts, floods and fires being liked to burning coal and gas creating atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2).

Prof Plimer claims there is no proof man-made CO2 emissions give rise to global warming and climate change is caused by factors over which we have no control.
