Doors ready to BOUNCE open

The new BOUNCE Morayfield indoor entertainment centre will open later this month.

Doors will officially open at the trampoline and “adrenaline playground” on June 29, during the school holidays.

The 18,000sqm centre, opposite Morayfield Shopping Centre at 170 Morayfield Rd, has also created 60 jobs for young people in the area.

It will be the BOUNCE’s fifth centre in Queensland - following Tingalpa, Carindale, MacGregor and the Gold Coast.

Co-founder Ant Morell said BOUNCE centres are fun for children and adults.

“But it’s the sort of fun that helps develop a range of transferable skills that can be applied to other activities and inspires people to come back for more,” he said.

“Kids love it because its adrenaline-fuelled fun.

“Parents, schools and community leaders love it because it gets kids off screens and socialising together in a healthy and inclusive environment.”

BOUNCE has a wide range of activities based around trampolining and adventure that combine sport, entertainment and leisure for all ages and abilities.

Taking over the former Officeworks site, BOUNCE Morayfield will include free jump trampolines, dodgeball, wall climb, X-Park ninja course, cliff jump and a miniBOUNCE Zone for juniors.

Activities harness balance, coordination and agility with staff (hosts) there to provide friendly encouragement and inspiration.

“After 10 years we’ve (Bounce) got a good handle on the population needed to support a venue,” Mr Morrell said at the start of this year.

“Morayfield came up as a high-scoring location for the right age group, families and young people for these activities.

“Our postcode data from Tingalpa also showed a lot of people from Morayfield were making a 40-minute journey down to that centre.”
