The school holidays got off to a flying start, with more than 30,000 people flocking to the 2024 Vietjet Redcliffe KiteFest.

Beloved children’s entertainer and former yellow Wiggle Emma Memma wowed the crowds in performances on Saturday and Sunday, captivating families with her catchy tunes and BB Butterfly enchanting young fans.

“It’s been an amazing weekend at Redcliffe KiteFest – so many beautiful kites, lots of dancing, twirling, great people and some great food,” Emma Memma says.

“I can’t wait to see everyone soon.”

Visit Moreton Bay CEO Tash Wheeler says enthusiasts came from across Queensland, interstate and New Zealand and Vietnam to enjoy two days of kites and entertainment.

"Vietjet Redcliffe KiteFest has stunned again. Over 30,000 people over two days with beautiful weather,” Tash says.
