Gallery: Foodies treat their tastebuds at inaugural Wamuran F.A.M Festival

The launch of the inaugural Wamuran F.A.M festival on the weekend was a huge success, with more than 2000 people attending.

The free event, held at the Wamuran Sports Complex on Saturday, was a chance to celebrate producers, makers and artists from Wamuran and surrounding regions.

Festival goers were treated to a smorgasbord of Food, Art and Music – with people coming from as far away as Kingaroy to support the event.

The food and produce stalls all boasted roaring trades, with many selling out.

The crowds were also wowed by the local musicians who took to the stage, with Redcliffe band Vixens of Fall closing the event.

The event was part of the Tastes of Moreton Bay Feastival – a six-week program featuring an array of foodie events which ran across the Moreton Bay Region from August 19 to September 25.

Wamuran F.A.M Festival was proudly presented by Moreton Bay Regional Council and supported by major sponsors Ausbuild and Moreton Daily.
