Huge jobs boost at business park

North Harbour has launched the first stage of its new $1 billion business park, which will lead to thousands of new jobs.

Spanning 76 hectares in Burpengary, the proposed mixed industry/business precinct and marina are projected to create 6416 jobs.

North Harbour is offering land lots ranging from 1800sqm to 18,000sqm in stage one of the 10-15 year development.

The precinct will have residential development and a central hub with health and shopping needs and pump more than $700 million a year into the City of Moreton Bay economy.

Development Manager Tom Hall-Brown said North Harbour, on 785 hectares, is an ideal location.

“In the heart of one of Australia’s most exciting growth corridors, North Harbour is perfectly positioned for businesses to take full advantage of a growing demand in many sectors,” he said.

“The demand for all things connected to building, home decorating, bulky good and manufacturing and distribution couldn’t be greater.”

North Harbour will have fibre to the premises broadband internet and access to underground reticulated natural gas giving companies greater control over costs while improving their carbon footprint.

The development has already been awarded Queensland's Best Parks and Recreation in the 2021 UDIA Queensland Awards and Best Residential Subdivision in 2018.
