BallyCara teamed up to celebrate the Village’s partnership with the NRL’s newest team – the Dolphins.

Ahead of the new NRL season kicking off this week, staff and Residents donned their best red, balloons and decorations and lined the Village entrance at Scarborough.

They had celebratory cake and biscuits, as well as a surprise visit from Phinny, the Dolphins’ mascot.

“Like the Dolphins, BallyCara has been a mainstay of the community on the Redcliffe peninsula for many years,” executive chairman Marcus Riley said.

“The Dolphins and BallyCara share a region, our place of origin and proud histories of serving the communities of our region.”

“We have shared a great relationship for decades and now form a partnership which will further enhance what we do for our communities.

“We look forward to working with the Dolphins team and community to undertake a range of initiatives that inspire healthy and happy living for more people across Moreton Bay, Brisbane and beyond.”

Dolphins' first match in the NRL is on Sunday against Sydney Roosters at Suncorp Stadium, kick-off 3.05pm.
