See Rick Price show at Scarborough

Fans can see singer songwriter Rick Price perform songs from his new album, as well as the hits that made him famous, at Scarborough Harbour Brewing next month.

The show on September 28 is part of an Australian tour of regional centres to promote Price’s first studio album of original material since Tennessee Sky was released nine years ago.

The album, Hometown, is Price’s 12th studio album and features some of Nashville's finest musicians - Dennis Crouch on bass, Fred Eltringham on drums, Tom Bukovac on guitar and Jimmy Wallace on organ.

The album takes you on a journey of Price's childhood in country Queensland to present life in Nashville Tennessee.

While Hometown is steeped in country, rhythm and blues, Price’s pop influences remain present. It features everything from soul-stirring ballads to smoky deep groves.

At the Scarborough show, Price will perform new tracks including You Can't Keep A Good Man Down and Let It Go, along with classic hits Heaven Knows, Not a Day Goes By, Walk Away Renee and River of Love.

"I love playing live and connecting with my audience...I'm so excited to be coming to Australia to share some new songs and old favourites with my friends,” Price says.

Hometown will be available for pre-order on CD and vinyl on September 6 online and at live shows.
