Skydiving Santa coming to Caboolture Christmas Carols
Littlies will be looking skyward for Santa to make his grand entrance at Caboolture Christmas Carols on Sunday, November 27.
The popular event will return to Centenary Lakes Park offering festive fun for the whole family with a jam-packed program of carols, twilight markets, fireworks, and even a sky diving Santa. It is on from 4-8pm.
Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT) CEO and Founder Shane Newcombe says Caboolture Christmas Carols will be bigger and better than ever in 2022, with something for all ages.
“It’s a great event that brings the community together and allows us all to celebrate with friends and family this festive season,” Mr Newcombe says.
“Everyone really enjoys it, it’s just lots of fun for all ages. And it gives local community groups a platform to showcase what they’ve been working on throughout the year.”
“And for the first year ever we’re going to have a skydiving Santa at Caboolture Carols, followed by an amazing program on the Ausbuild Main Stage. The crowd is going to love it.”
Santa’s Village will host a range of children’s activities from free face painting to snow globes and Christmas craft.
The Christmas llamas will be back again this year and families will have the chance to meet Santa.
“Santa’s mailbox will be onsite at all our Christmas carol events ready to send everyone’s wish lists to the North Pole. Be sure to include a return address so Santa can send his reply,” Mr Newcombe says.
Community spirit shines
Moreton Bay Regional Mayor Peter Flannery says Christmas is the perfect time for the community to come together.
“Moreton Bay Christmas Carols provide such a welcoming environment to celebrate a big year in our region,” Mr Flannery says.
“With a great program, a cheerful atmosphere and mighty fireworks display at the end of the night, these events really are a great asset to our community.
“Just bring along a picnic blanket or chair and enjoy an evening of carolling and local entertainment.”
There will be food trucks and stalls onsite, offering a selection of tasty treats which can be enjoyed while enjoying top-notch entertainment.
There will also be a range of handmade goods and boutique items at the twilight markets, so families can get a headstart on Christmas shopping.
The Caboolture Carols is strictly a non-alcohol event. Parking is available onsite and in surrounding streets.
