Who’s Who in 2022, Music & Arts: Lynch and Paterson

Enthusiastic performers from Lynch and Paterson theatre company have taken to the stage to entertain thousands of people with their take on several world-wide smash hit musicals.

The group started the year off with one of the longest running musicals of all time - Les Misérables – which they performed at the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre in February.

Speaking to Moreton Daily in January before the curtain rose and the spotlight shined down, Lucas Lynch, who is one part of Lynch and Paterson, said the cast was excited to bring the much-loved show back to the stage.

Les Misérables is such a coveted show and is loved by millions all over the world, so we are excited to be putting our own little stamp on this much-loved musical,” Lucas said at the time.

“There’s a big expectation for audiences when they see Les Misérables because it is such a powerful story, and I know our cast will do it justice because they are all so talented.

“Normally, with a production of this magnitude, it can take anywhere between three to six months to prepare, but our cast and crew are doing it in 10 weeks.

“Their rehearsals are just getting better and better, so I am adamant we can pull this together and give the audience a show that is out of this world.”

Lucas also mentioned the company loved taking to the stage in Redcliffe.

“The Redcliffe Entertainment Centre is one of our favourite venues to perform at, which is why we keep coming back,” he said.

“We love the Moreton Bay crowds because they are wonderful people and great patrons of the arts.”

In addition to Les Misérables, Lynch and Paterson also performed other hit musicals including The Ultimate ABBA Experience in May, Phantom of the Opera in November, and Songs of Hollywood, also in November.

All these shows were performed at the Twelfth Night Theatre in the Brisbane suburb of Bowen Hills.

About Lynch and Patterson

Lynch and Paterson theatre company was founded by Lucas D Lynch and Samantha Paterson in 2015.

Lucas is a composer, pianist, conductor, musical director and producer, whereas Samantha is both a performer and musical director in the musical theatre and cabaret industry.

The pair met at the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre more than a decade ago, where their love of theatre prompted them to create their own company to help up-and-coming artists get onto the stage.

Lynch and Paterson are always on the lookout for aspiring singers, dancers, musicians, actors, technicians and other creatives to join them on stage for one of their many productions.
