Women’s Shed to host health and wellness information session

The Moreton Bay Women’s Shed will be hosting a health and wellness information session on Saturday, October 29, to help the community feel pampered while also learning some tips on how to take better care of themselves.

The free event – called Wrinkles, Wobbles and Wellness - will be held at Wyruna Hall at the Pine Rivers Showground from 10am-12pm.

The event has been organised by Kylie Craven, who has overcome some of her own health battles.

“I was a nurse but due to a back injury I have been unable to return to work,” Kylie said.

“I was feeling burnt out, exhausted, depressed, and was in constant pain.

“I found and met a lot of other women who were experiencing similar symptoms, whether that be through an injury, or just the busy lives they lead.

“I will be sharing not only my journey, but also some of the products that helped me feel better.

“This is an information session where you can learn more, but there will also be facials and wellness talks by guest speakers.”

In addition, every person who attends will go in the draw to win a lucky door prize.

If you are interested in attending, RSPVP by Wednesday, October 27 by sending a text message to Jackie on 0490 343 513 with your name and number of guests.
